ABlog Just an urchin living under the street, I'm a hard case that's tough to beat, I'm your charity case, So buy me something to eat, I'll pay you at another time, Take it to the end of the line a lyric from which 1987 song and by which artist

Its a benchmark moment for ABlog, an anniversary if you like. Its the hat-trick, three in a row and still standing.

First things firstcongrats to Zacsmaster who was first to identify last weeks headline as Wild Horses by the Rolling Stones off the album Sticky Fingers. Well done! Sadly there is no prize, but you can be smug in the knowledge that you are just that little bit cleverer than other people out there. A similar air of superiority for anyone who guesses todays lyric.

Also apologies to Doc Spock for any confusion concerning the story at the end of last weeks blog. Just to clear things up, the tennis story from the week before wasn't a joke but they're just slightly wacky stories from the week. Hope that clears up any confusion.

In other news I have been reliably informed that today is nettis birthday. So Happy Birthday netti from all at AB, hope you have a great day/evening/night!

China Doll seems determined to get her name in this blog, even going to the point of asking me to champion the merits of brie and pickled onion on crackers. Now, I dont mind the request, however I dont think I will enter into that debate, mainly because people seem passionate about it and I dont want to cause a riot. So fight it out amongst yourselves people*ding*Round 1.

For you ABers who like to chatter (see where Im going with this ) the infamous, legendary Chatterbank will be making a return on Monday for one week! This news is like Eric Cantona when he first played after kung fu kicking that fan, the recent resurrection of Pink Floyd and the bombshell that Wispas are making a comeback. However, much like Wispas, this will only be a trial period. If it fails then it will be gone forever, much like One True Voices pop career. However, if it is a success then it may have an extended run on AB. A poll will be put up for you to cast your votes and, who knows, you might be chattering for a long time yet.

And thats just about it for this week. I wont leave you with a wacky story from this weekactually yes I will. A British scientist has been awarded a doctorate for a paper saying that humans will one day marry robots. According to his research robots will become sophisticated to the point where they will be seen as suitable marriage partners. Im not sure how I feel about the idea of walking into Currys in 50 years and seeing a range of cyborg partners for sale. But one thing I am fairly sure of it wont happen in time for next weeks blog. So thats it the end of another ABlog and I will touch base with you soon.
