Dog spooked by banger going off! I know when dogs are afraid they behave differently! Ban bangers, no need for them!

I think fireworks should be restricted to licenced organised displays and only on the 5th or nearest weekend. The banging and whistling has been driving my two mental for almost 2 weeks now.
Though I doubt very much whether a loud bang was the cause of this attack. A frightened dog is too concerned by being frightened to take it into its head to attack someone. If the victim was the cause of the fear, as by staring at the dog, then, yes, they'll be attacked because the dog sees them as threatening, but not otherwise.
