Jewish Levels Of Understanding Scripture
2 Answers
I am led to believe that it is accepted in Judaism that there are three, possibly four levels of understanding scripture.
These are the plain meaning, the allegorical, and the mystical.
Is there a fourth?
Are the above names for the different levels correct?
To what extent does this influence Christian theologians?
