Oh goodness, I have missed this again this week. I cannot seem to remember what day it is half the time, plus I've been burning the candle a bit! I might weigh in the morning if I think to, if not I'll be with you again next week. I might weigh in the morning if I think to, if not I'll be with you again next week. My favourite healthy recipe is to replace the mince in your shepherds pie, for a tin of green lentils and chopped celery (mmmmm).
Fry off some chopped onions, chopped celery and diced carrot in frylight.
Add anything else you have in the fridge - eg a courgette, a few cauliflower sprigs, mushrooms etc
Add the tin of lentils, a tin of tomatoes and some tom puree.
Add a knorr veg stockpot and leave to simmer.
Cook your potatoes and mash with a little skimmed milk and low fat spead. Pile on top of the lentil mix and grill for five minutes. Serve with seasonal spring green (home grown at the moment!) or some brocolli.

I'm half a pound up this week :-(
I know exactly why....a few biscuits here, a piece of cake there and a brie sandwich with a side of crisps in a cafe. What am I thinking of?!
I'm really struggling at the moment with a particular time of day - trying to resist a couple of biscuits or a piece of cake with my cup of tea at 10pm. I wouldn't buy them for myself but OH has no problem with his weight its hard to deny him. He has given up bread with me, never eats meat or processed food, or chocolate. he has plain yoghurt and eats his fruit and veg. Its impossible to ban biscuits and cakes for him too!
So any help you can give me to find a small non fruit snack to satisfy my sweet tooth when it strikes at 10pm?
