You know what, I just watched this on tape....for anyone who's interested, this story pretty much mirrored my life story from start to finish. Only swap the brain tumor into the husband instead. It was my dad, left us and moved in with girlfriend, got brain tumour pretty soon after, my mum and girlfriend became very good friends whilst my dad was ill. The daughter was even a spitting image of me. I have just sobbed for ages and can't believe the coincidence that someone has put my life story on TV and I watched it.
