Italian Chardonnay In Lidl !
I was having a browse for bargains just now, in our wonderful new Lidl, and I came across a bottle of Italian Chardonnay, for £3:00 !
Now I haven't tasted it yet....that will happen at 19:03, but at £3 a bottle, its got to be worth a punt hasn't it ? Its 11% as well.
Lidl's Pinotage has been a favourite of mine for years, £3:99 or £4:25, depending on what week in the month it is, and its 12.5% !
I also bought a bottle of Irish Cream Liqueur, at £3:75, as well. I bought one before Xmas, and it was bloody lovely, but hurry while stocks last, as its a Xmas Special ( I think ! )

I am hoping that at 3 quid a bottle, its no great shame if its not absolutely
yummy. I love a bargain !

No, not really TTT.
Very close to our brand-new Lidl, there is a Tesco, where I friend of mine works. She told me that that their takings have plummeted since this new Lidl opened, and its not difficult to see why.
I sometimes go to one of our Tesco super-duper stores, to browse the TVs, etc, especially when I am out working and I have an hour to kill. But its long time since I bought a full shop there.
