Does anyone know if Richard M. Nixon (vice pres.) U.S. stayed at the above hotel Christmas/New year- 1958 ?

Sorry, can't say, but I did , in 1960 and it was very nice thank you.

I have a copy of his memoirs and he mentions visiting Hong Kong in 1953 and1964. However there is no mention of the hotel and fear I might have to reread the book to confirm this.You can imagine,at 1090 pages, it isn't likely. Hope you get a more helpful response.
