I have tried to set up my broadband and it appears that I do not have an ethernet port. What is the cheapest place to get a usb to ethernet converter, Cheers

astondog: you need what's called a Network Interface Card. Basically a card to slot into a free PCI slot on your computer so that you'll have an ethernet port. Don't pay too much for it. This one is under �4:

While I agree you don't necessarily NEED a usb to ethernet converter you could certainly use one.
Opening up your computer to install an ethernet card would invalidate your warranty (assuming its still valid).
