Does anyone know location of beach in opening scenes of new series on ITV called Kingdom, and starring Stephen Fry ?

Certainly the overhead shots of the town looked to be Wells. Lovely town of the Norfolk coast

Yes, the beach bits are Holkham sands with the Pinewoods in the back shot, accessed either through Holkham, or via Wells Next the Sea on the North Norfolk coast. The aerial views are that of Wells Next the Sea and I think the town with the practice office is Swaffham (where Stephen Fry actually has a house). All these elements combine to make the fictitious Norfolk town of �Market Shipborough�.

youre right Oct, Swaffham is where the majority of the filming was done. I spent most of my time last night spotting places I knew from years ago.

Stephen Fry lives about 6 miles outside of Swaffham
