I have just seen my local news and there have been 58 instances of air rage so far this year. These people are putting other peoples lives at risk. Anyone convicted of air rage should have their passports withdrawn permanently.
Most instances of Air Rage' are the result of passengers being drunk. The airlines should not be able to sell more than the legal limit of alcohol per passenger. By this, I mean the limit at which your are classified as drunk if you drive a car, which is also what doctors recommend as a safe limit.
Passengers who aircrew suspect have already been drinking should be refused any more alcohol.
If these simple measures were introduced, air rage would virtually disappear.
I would have thought that a drunken passenger would present a danger to themselves and other passengers in the event of an emergency.
The only solution would be to clsoe the bars at the airport, that'll never happen.
