Last one is 9d but I can't understand it.

It's lively notrh of Kings Cross. I have s?a?k?n? so I reckon it could be sparking.

Any help appreciated.

I think SPANKING would be better. As it's a down clue, read it as "north of king is cross". Cross = span, as in a bridge spanning a river. Chambers defines spanking as: spirited, fresh and brisk.
