KM Links Game - June week 5 [Results] (pp seekeerz)

Still no word from seekeerz so I am posting this thread in preparation for the results. We look forward not only to this week's results, but as this is the end of the month, we are all waiting to see if Dizzy Lizzie has managed to hang on to her lead.

In order to find out, we will first have to get the results from Monday's 'Herculis Crossword'. So over to you - GK solvers - Who will be the first to post the grey links so I can then do the appropriate calculations?

Thanks to Dizzy Lizzie, (or strictly speaking - Mr Dizzy Lizzie) we got started promptly on Saturday morning. Will she be first today with the answers? -and will we believe her if she is ;-)

I will now go and do the necessary sums, but as you say, it won't amount to much. I can see immediately that nobody went for MOON BOOT but quite a few GOLDEN EAGLES around,

Well, Kate really caught you out there!

You got off to a good start with 5 of the first 6 players plumping for GOLDEN EAGLE. The first two,Dizzy Lizzie & beejay1124 qualified for the bonus and so 2 points each there. In all, 12 players scored on this link, which is just as well since only three players scored points elsewhere.

The two points for HARP SHELL went to JMR27 13 minutes into the game - an option that was not taken up by anyone else.

An hour and a half into the game, last month's winner, crofter proved he was still on form by making two hits on such a difficult week with IRON HORSE and Golden Eagle for a total of 3 points. Jim (of JimJools) was the only other entrant to prefer the Iron Horse.

The final link of MOON BOOT went begging - not a single taker.



So did that alter the top of the table?

In short, No. Dizzy Lizzie increased her lead by two more points to confirm her place as the winner for June.

been a good morning for me .I passed my driving test earlier. Mind you it was for an electric wheelchair so it was not too difficult.
