Is there a forum / blog site where the clues are discussed, like BigDave on the Dtel?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I'm not aware of any other site - or should I say I've never been invited to visit one! Most clues of a tricky nature seem to be discussed here. Usually there is at least one clue where you come up with more than one answer and I believe you just have to take your pick, or submit more than one entry.
I've only just printed the March grid, and I plan to make a start during the day, so I'm not yet in a position to discuss any clues. But if there is a particular clue that's bugging you I'm willing to start on that one first!
Good luck!

no, Quizmonkey .... I would not.
I thought this site was a Question and Answer site?
I have not asked for an answer, nor even a clue to an answer yet.
I simply was asking, as a recent joiner, whether there was a Forum that discusses some of the (harder) answers, and maybe shares knowledge abot researching on the Internet.
So, bug off to your trees ..... if you havent got a more intelligent comment to post.
Thanks Rose Maybud for your helpful advice, and sharing of your thoughts on this Xword.

Back again!
I too have made a start and I'm stuck on four and all 'googled out'. My favoured approach now with this crossword is to let it all 'lie fallow' for a few days. There is plenty of time before the deadline of the 13th March.
I believe it is a little early to be asking for answers, after all, there will be people all over the world only just catching up with the new crossword, but if it will save anyone's sanity, then a pointer in the right direction won't go amiss.
Regards

Since when was the definition of 'intelligence' linked to the ability to using the internet or being good at General Knowledge?
I agree with you Rose Maybud and 08012006 ....
if you haven't got anything better to do, than to moan at users using a Question and Answer site, then best to go and 'grump elsewhere.
I started a thread with the question Is there a forum / blog site where the clues are discussed, like BigDave on the Dtel?
I neither asked to be given clues at that moment, nor asked for answers - if, there was a forum I would choose my own timing as to when I looked; and it certainly wouldn't be yet, since I enjoy the challenge that this puzzler sets ....
It is tiresome when 'monkeys' start swinging wildly about :-)
So, I shall ignore their precious egos.
At the moment I have completed all but two, where the letters of plausible answers intersect but 'clash'. I, too tend to put it down for a few days and shall look again next week.
Let us hope that monkeys also take the weekend off!
