I usually stick with tea to avoid all the pretensiousness surrounding the supply of a bitter hot brown liquid served up by a po-faced, tattooed operative at an eye-watering price.
I drink both. At breakfast i have a tea and then a coffee. At eleven i have a coffee. At tea time i have a cup of tea.

Mostly coffee but sometimes a cup of tea if I can't get to sleep.
Coffee everytime
Only coffee - never drunk tea. Even the smell of tea makes me feel sick.
80% tea, the occasional coffee. All decaf.
Drink both. Well aware different brands, days, whatever, create different quality mugs of drink, so one gets good & bad of each. Have a preference for coffee but not so much as others would notice.
Tea. Milk. Water. Favourite is milk.
I used to drink loads of tea until about 12 years ago. Then I drastically cut sugar and switched to coffee with cream. I've not looked back.

I went off coffee when I had Covid. Apart from the very occasional small cup of filter coffee, I rarely drink it now. I couldn't touch the instant stuff.
Hate tea!! I am an avid coffee drinker.

I usually only drink instant, but I've found a few that I really like.
I'll have an espresso occasionally when out for a meal.
Oh no! That's it, I'm on the rosie today!
The British first drank coffee...mostly in coffee houses and only by men. Tea was very expensive when it first arrived, but production of cheaper varieties meant the masses could afford it...250 years of tea drinking later...
good point pasta, fun fact, the first stock exchange was in a coffee house!
Coffee :)))) Now you are talking, naomi! I buy a small packet of tea bags about twice a year for any visitor who prefers it to coffee. I tend to throw away the unopened packet before replenishing. Cannot remember the last time I had instant coffee - probably in a coffee and walnut cake and that was ages ago as our sweet taste buds no longer partake of such food.
