Islam - voilent religion?

Now the reading is clear on the wall , and we can see it with the bare eyes that Islam is responsible for majority of conflicts , wars and terrorist attacks of last few decades (if not few centuries). We need not to say Militant Islam or Fascist Islam or Voilent Islam or ... Islam is responsible for terrorism.

Islam itself is Militant , Violent , Destructive and Intolerant in nature. Islam is nothing but a medieval cult of intolerance, hatred, bigotry, incitement, plunder, rape, murder, bloodshed and death, and it is engulfing the whole civilisation into its tentacles . We have to free our societies with plague or cancer of Islamism. am I right?

thats why we need to help educate eachother in a peaceful manner. no-one is going to understand when we are swearing and pulling each other teeths out, thats what I see in this thread.

Just wondering - but do non-Muslims go into Islamic countries and try to doctrinate there. And if their 'converting' efforts are not successful, do they then resort to violent crimes? As someone said in another thread - what would happen if non-Muslims tried to erect a Christian church within an Islam country? Stoning comes to mind . . . .

We need to help these people understand the true beauty of Islam, but beofre we can make judgement on them we must become educated ourselves...I am a british born muslim, and I see this as much as off my country as anybody else would.

Peace123 - following your comments on here, I find a great irony in your AnswerBank id . . . . .Peace. Do you really know the meaning of the word. Perhaps you can cite an instance where a Muslim in Britain has been treated similarly to Kenneth Bigley, Jock Hemsley and Eugene Thompson. None of those poor souls committed a crime. But Muslims convicted of true crimes in Britain would not pay the ultimate price. Do the words barbaric or uncivilised ever cross your mind . . . . .?

Keyplus, ok, let's say we give you and your friend, Peace123, the benefit of the doubt. You insist that Islam is peaceful, and admit that many who call themselves Muslims are acting against the teachings of the Koran. If you are truly sincere in denouncing barbaric acts committed by those claiming to be Muslim, how do you suggest they be stopped? Rather than telling infidels (who are very happy to remain infidels) how perfect your religion is, wouldn't you be better employed 'unlocking the brains' of the 'fallen' Muslims, and re-educating them in the ways of Islam?

Peace123 says you must keep trying to show people the true beauty of Islam, but it would clearly be more productive, more useful, and more welcome to this world if you aimed your good deed at your own, and reminded them of their religion. Perhaps you should consider putting your own house in order by 'inviting all Muslims to the way of the Lord', before you presume to tell others how to live.

Incidentally, you tell us how kind and loving Islam is, Keyplus, but you find the thought of seeing your God hanging a non-believer upside down quite hilarious. That speaks volumes, Keyplus, it really does. Try as you may, your mask slips occasionally, doesn't it. I really believe you are all heart!

I agree Naomi, alot of islamic scholars are promoting peace within there communites, its just that other havent seen it yet

Sorry my 'friend' - do you have an understanding problem? The irony is that you choose a word - namely PEACE - which I thought all Muslims - British and otherwise - avoided because they have not the slightest inclination as to what it means. Unfortunately it is going to be difficult for you to attempt promoting education, peace and friendship here in Britain. Perhaps you would be better occupied by taking your teachings to Islamic countries. Or are you too comfortable wher you live now?
