Manchester City is playing Inter Milan in the Champion League final this evening, and they are favourites to win, but a final is unpredictable and i hope City manage the game well and bring home the trophy. They would match Man Uniteds treble of trophies won in 1999. Come on the City!.

I can't see Inter doing this. City win games when they're not even playing well, but it's a final and who knows?

I'm backing Inter.
Who are the favourites?
Apparently Inter were not forecast to get to the final, but had lucky chances that they took. Makes me nervous for Manchester City. Luck makes a big difference.
Luck, eventually, runs out, too, Carol.
As long as it’s before the match!

I don't believe the prices are truly indicative of City's chances of lifting the trophy - 1/2 is a bit of an insult to Inter, imho. It's just that whenever an English side is playing in European finals, most who are having a punt will be on their side. Obviously, the bookies will shorten the odds in anticipation of this.

I'll be having a bet, but i'll be building my own odds, possibly without having to name the winner.

No matter what happens one half of Manchester will be happy tonight.
I did have the red half of Manchester in mind when i said "most who are having a punt will be on their side."

T'would be the same were Bar Steward Rovers taking part:-)

City won it 1-0. They are hungry for more success, so everyone else in the Premiership must up their game.
Well done to them I do remember how it felt in 1999. I finally feel confident in a Manager we have, love Ole' GS, but Ten Hag seems to be getting the wheels back on the bus.

Yes, i expect Man United to be a threat to everyone next season, and if they can land Harry Kane they will be right up there.
City are the biggest users of the "tactical foul", where, if they lose the ball in their opponents' half, they commit a foul to prevent the break-away attack. Mourinho said it years ago. I suspect he knows all about it, as he probably invented it.
