Go for AVG 6.0 at www.grisoft.com, it rated highly against most other commercial anti-virus software in Computer Active Magazine the other month. I use it, it works fine for me.

go to www.cnet.com/downloads its a great site where you can find anti virus, spyware scanners, anti adware packages and they're all free, i recommend the bazooka package
