Windsor council is installing new barriers because, as Councillor Bicknell stated,"Keeping our residents safe is a top priority and these measures have been designed to ensure the safety of residents and those visiting Windsor."

Safety from what ? Terrorists from without the Castle precincts, or Royal Drivers from within ?

Was this the council who harassed homeless people in case they used suicide vests to keep warm during two celebrity weddings last year? It is reassuring to know that nobody would carry out an atrocity just outside the barriers.
