Canon Pixma Black Cartridges
5 Answers
I am confused about the Canon Pixma large black cartridges. There's a PGi-550 PGBK 15ml, and a PG1-550XL 22ml. But are they different sized cartridges, or is the 22ml a concentrated ink in the same sized cartridge? I don't want to buy the XL if it won't fit into my printer (I've been using the 15ml).

If your printer is one of the Canon models that has 6 cartridges (including grey), then a full set of ALL SIX compatible cartridges (with 23.4ml of ink in the big black one) costs just £15.95 from my preferred supplier (with quantity discounts and free delivery):

If your printer doesn't have a grey cartridge, then a full set of ALL FIVE compatible cartridges costs just £12.75:

I nearly always buy complete sets of inks but, if you particularly need just the big black one, it's available for just £4.13:

I've been using compatible inks for my Canon printers from Inkredible for many years. They're just as good as Canon's own inks but considerably cheaper!

I have had the same problems with my Canon Pixma MG5751 printer, and compatible ones before.
This last time I ordered the recommended compatibles from Stinkyink, and they are working a treat.
The printer came up with a message that said they were not Canon inks, but I just clicked ok, and they installed anyway.
