probably a lot less than is used in "mining" the few remaining Bitcoins?

In the U.K. alone, the millions of mobiles and supporting servers depending on electricity could be considerable.
There are also an awful lot of kettles, and they use considerable amounts of electricity.

Phone chargers use very little.

'Tis the backroom hardware, servers etc, that would be the energy-gobblers, surely?
Why single out mobile phones? What about the internet?
