But Togo - Lineker hasn’t set a precedent.

Surely that precedent was set by Mary Berry, Lord Sugar, Chris Packham or Deborah Meaden?

Also “wokerati”!!!?
//Switch out "Jews" for "immigrants" and tonally, it sounds an awful lot like the current Tory rhetoric.//

Perhaps, then, you could quote some of that Tory rhetoric with the same accuracy that you quoted Hitler’s. In particular, perhaps you might tell us who said something that sounds an awful lot like “but we must once and for all get rid of the opinion that [immigrants were] only created by God for the purpose of being in a certain percentage a parasite living on the body and the productive work of other nations." Who, among the Tories, said anything along those lines and when did they say it?

Jews weren’t mentioned in the extract so you can switch that one out.

Tonally the other extract - sounds like current Tory sentiment.

And that extract was really not hard to find.
NJ (at 11:15) Lineker tweeted ‘We take in far fewer refugees than other major European countries’ – clearly they are more welcoming and tolerant than the UK, or perhaps they have crossed that fine line and are being taken for complete idiots.
It is not unusual for an accused individual who is under investigation to be away from their position while that occurs. In fact one tends to expect it.

When someone achieves a first at something then that sets a precedence. GL managed to get his employer to back down from the very reasonable action they took when fellow colleagues refused to work while he was off air. That contrasts wildly from the rest of us that can't even get a win when our employer is unreasonably pushing us around. It is now known that the BBC is a toothless capitulator. Others will now know that given enough support from colleagues, the BBC can be pushed around to satisfy their whim.
Other major European countries are seemingly not looking after their nations interests then, and likely envouraging the problem. But if their defence they are going to be nearer the nation the travellers started from, so are supposed to process any genuine asylum arrivals, not pass them on, so that they revert from being asylum seekers (if they ever were) to economic migrants.

Best line in above vid:-

Question: So does that mean you are also putting in place legislation to help poorer people in this country?

Answer: God, no.
//Jews weren’t mentioned in the extract so you can switch that one out.//

What do you mean? I quoted the extract exactly as you posted it.

//…clearly they are more welcoming and tolerant than the UK, or perhaps they have crossed that fine line and are being taken for complete idiots.//

Not really. They haven’t woken up to the fact that all the people currently living in Africa and Asia who don’t particularly like it where they are, simply cannot be accommodated in Europe. But I’m not particularly interested in what other countries do or don’t do. I’m only interested in what happens here in the UK. This country has about one million fewer homes than it needs and the problems with essential services are well documented. As OG says, those other countries can have little concern for the people already there.

//Question: So does that mean you are also putting in place legislation to help poorer people in this country?

Answer: God, no.//

It would be far better, Hymie, if you constructed your own posts instead of expecting everybody to watch inane drivel from YouTube.

Aye,right....
YNNAFYMMI, "Every time i refer to the SNP as nationalist, socialists i get my answer removed." Really?

26.12.22 "Meanwhile up here in Scotland the nationalist scum, the SNP still reign supreme.Seeing you are in Scortland, dave, lets join forces and finally crush these SNP nationalists.Lets do it,dave, lets do it.”

That is one of yours and it's not been deleted.
