need to do one but don't know how - have googled a bit and it said something about print screen on your keyboard but nothing happened

Is it FN button at the same time as F7 then control V

On my Samsung. It's press the on/off and volume control buttons at the same time, but it doesn't always work and it's really awkward to do!

I can only take a screenshot on my laptop keyboard if I am signed in to one drive. If I am, then all I have to do is press the button on top row next to the delete button which says "prt sc" (meaning print screen) - a notification pops up then if I go into my Onedrive documents the picture is there under 'screenshots'
I hope this makes sense.

You do press the print screen on a laptop but you won't see anything until you then 'paste' it into something like a blank email or word document.
