I've finally managed to stop all the 'Notifzone' notifications.

I'm just really looking for reassurance that all these messages were in fact just notifications and people weren't actually hacking into my account and stealing bank details etc

You've no need to worry.  The Android operating system is naturally far more secure than Windows is because all the apps are 'sandboxed', meaning that (unless you specifically authorise them to work together) each app works independently of all others.  (Windows, on the other hand, is based around its 'registry', where all apps are effectively linked together).

Nothing nasty's going to happen 🙂
