Now where is the Weird Farmer's representative for ex-Comecon countries and his 'learned view' on a good Tory-led performance - he won't be a happy bunny, that's for sure.

Who told you that TTT? Sunak and his dummy Hunt No doubt

Perhaps you should consider changing your name to Gullible

Question Author

The BBC.

It is good but it could and should be better.

The right direction though, wont please SKS and his mob.

So not only can Gulliver struggle with posting a link he cant even click on it.  Or he can and cant read big words.

> The economy grew by 0.6% in the first three months of the year - taking the UK out of recession

Says it all, really - we're in the doldrums. Sometimes we're north of the equator, other times south, but we're not going anywhere fast. This news is hardly going to change anybody's mind, and is more likely to reinforce their existing opinion ...

Christ - if Ellipses fell into barrel full of tits he'd come out sucking his thumb.

It's good news that the Labour govt will inherit something positive.

My politics is closer to TTT than Gully.

However I have say 0.6% growth is hardly cause for big celebrations.

0.6% growth is growth. Jesus wept, there's no bloody pleasing people.

Question Author

15:56 0.6% for a quarter is very good, we'd settle for 2.4 over a year.

Whoooosh.

Fast growth, right there.

The opening words in that article:

"There are many millions of households for whom normal growth will not feel good.

When I go around the country and ask people about recession ending, there is a mixture of resignation, laughter and annoyance.

The significant hike in the level of prices is what households notice the most, more than the rate of inflation or GDP. While per capita GDP is now also up for the first time in two years, it is still lower now than two years ago."

A couple of weeks ago there was a reduction in the rate of inflation. The Prime Minister, Rishi Soonaxed, said this was good for businesses. No mention of us, the great unwashed, as with these latest figures. Will anyone benefit from this? Only businesses, probably, who will continue to reap the benefits of any change at our expense.

10cs: "A couple of weeks ago there was a reduction in the rate of inflation. The Prime Minister, Rishi Soonaxed, said this was good for businesses" - and there you have it ladies and gentlemen the perfect illustration of why socialists are clueless and socialism can never work. Business creates wealth, nothing else, everything else errodes wealth, especially the state and public sector. By saying it was good for business he was saying it was good for us all.

Take out inflation and immigration - yes, immigration! - and our GDP is lower than a year ago.

Some growths need to be examined by experts for bad news.

> Take out inflation and immigration - yes, immigration! - and our GDP is lower than a year ago.

And that is why people don't feel better off ... it's because they're not.

Who are "us all"? Shareholders? Directors? I don't know anyone who is good about it.

Question Author

all of us 10cs, even you. How do you think wealth is created for you to spend?

In my experience, it seems that wealth is created by many for the benefit of the few.
