Has anyone filled one of these out recently?....I have just picked up an appl. form from tesco an it is straightforward till you get to the end questionaire where you are allowed only to pick 1 least and one most of the 4 statements in each block that is most suited to you.

Well you think it would be easy but the statements in each block are cleverley written as such that most of them i couldnt actually say least applied to me as it would be false, let me give you an example....in one block the question reads:- Iam the sort of person who..

A- works hard to meet others needs
B-maintains high standard of work
C-keeps my comittments to others
D-learns new things quickly.....

so i have to choose one that is most true to me and one that is least true and in this instance i would say they was all true to me but you cant answer like this and this is the way it goes on for all 16 questions.....psychological headwrecking and i only want to be a driver???

Sorry for long post but any help or tips appreciated

What absolute tosh !!!!!!!! Some superscillious jumped up graduate has got nothing better to do with his time ! I suppose if you really want the job, you have to dance to their tune. Just go with your gut feelings.
If i needed a driver you could work for me !
Good luck hun.
Hi my wife and i both work for Tosco and both had that lovely questionnaire. They are trying to find out what role you would best suit. What i did in the interview i stated that i would have ticked all of them as i feel they all apply. Sorry if not much help best of luck.

Thanks people for the advice....i wouldnt be applying for this but the money is good and well needed at present so I will have to go with the gut instinct.....who knows I may be offered a super position......as if....thanks again
sorry if this is a bit late but apparently to get a perfect score on this test you have to be consistent so say you answer C on the question in your example and another question is eg. I am the sort of person who A-strives to please
B-is very reliable
C-follows company policies
D-loves to learn
you should answer B, and so on throughout the test
there is no right or wrong answer, it is a SICD test, they are seeing what personailty you are, dont stress it. answer it quickly, dont think too long
