If a married women was caught having an affair (if you can call it that in the case) and they get divorced does the women come worse off as in money wise..
I'm am seeing a female who is married as i see it only on paper. As they have not been living together for a number of years he does see the children. But that's it no other contact as a couple. She want to leave him but doesn't want my name involved as she has been told she would come worse off....

I see it that way but just need to know what the law says i think i will post this on law as well..
Cheers ummmm
if theyve lived apart from a number of years then divorce would be done without having to give a reason. i think they have to be able to prove seperation for 3 years or something.
The reasons for divorce do not affect any monetary divisions.

The courts take into account children and any assets the couple have, not who did what to whom

Many thanks Joe
I've just spoken to a lady friend who said the same as you many thanks Roy

You are welcome, tell your girlfriend to start divorce proceedings. They have been seperated long enough and can 'do it herself' for a couple of hundred pounds.

Her ex probably wants the same...time to move on and all that!!

Good luck

Many thanks you could of saved me from a lot of futrue sh!te...x
you can divorce after two years of separation - and give the reason long term separation funnily enough. the reasons for the separation are irrelevant when dividing assets - its a no blame process.
