Under garments should be changed daily, shouldn't they?

I was out for lunch and a friends mate came with us, I don't really know her and I don't know how we ended up talking about it but she says it is unnecessary to change your underwear everyday! I'm 'gobsmacked', does anyone else think this way?

All you need to do is after your weekly wipe down with a damp flannel simply pull on 7 pairs of undies and every day peel the top layer off - simple, clean kecks every day�.
