exactly dotty, never saw it in my youth! They were just gypsies plain and simple and a tad dirty!!

the way the girls were explaining it last night, its the one event in their lives that is "theirs" and they want to be remembered for it. i can understand that, if my life was then to consist of popping out kids and looking after my hubby i'd want one hell of a send off.

but as we haven;t seen much of the "life after" who knows...

I think the similiarity between Jordan and the Gypsies goes as far as her tacky dress.

dotty, those videos are very good but Romany Gypsies (as featured in your links) are quite different to the Irish Travellers who have featured in the recent TV series. Their customs and traditions are not the same.
