believing in ghosts

I'm a very sciency person, and science says ghosts are impossible, yet i'm sure i've seen at least 3. . . . Are you sciency, or religious, do you belive in ghosts or not, have you seen any?

To Wyzard66, in reply to your "no video evidence exists to prove existence of ghosts". It would be quite unusual for you to have a video camera in your hands and running at the exact time that a ghost moved into view. However, cctv is constantly running and did capture this odd event.

Too true ratter, when you're alone in a district thats not been used for 50 year and you know there's nobody within a mile of you the slightest creak or drip of water landing can start your mind going. I've always been proud of the fact that there's not much really bothers me but having said that I was always glad when I saw lights ahead and I knew I was getting back to the normal working areas.

I've never experienced anything personally, but I am interested in the subject and have heard from too many people that have seen and heard things to dismiss it all out of hand. One common misconception that most people seem to have though is that ghosts are spirits of the dead, but some of the best documented sightings are of apparitions that are either above or below the present floor level. This suggestes they are some kind of 'atmospheric recording' that plays back like a video in the presence of certain sensitive people that are on the right wavelength. They are standing on the floor as it was in their time, and not conscious spirits at all, and their famed ability to walk through walls comes from them entering a door that used to be there.

Ghosts do exist and science has proved it. absorbing materials such as stone and water absorb energy and every now and again it gets thrown back out. so if you have been sat in 14th century waiting for a loved one to return every day by the same window for years, that image every now and again gets thrown back out again. its not paranormal at all. you cant speak to it, it wont reply to you if you ask it for a cup of tea.

Spirits are the ones that you can have a conversation with, with tapping noises, speaking via white noise, touching or throwing on command etc.
spirits are the ones that scientists are trying to prove/disprove. It will always be a debatable subject, heaven and hell, spiritworld / just die and thats it. No-one will really ever find out the truth until it happens. theres always a photoshop for pictures so even the genuine ones now will get the flack. I always say the only way you beleive or not beleive is to experience it for yourself, go to a haunted location on a ghost hunt with all the techy equipment. we do them every weekend and more and more swaying to beleivers now - weve seen too much lol
