Having Jokes And Crossword Clues In The Latest Posts -Can You Stop Them?

sometimes the latest post box is flooded with jokes or clues, and barely any proper questions - and its annoying and pointless - they are not things you look at because the title interests you - you go to those topics specifically for a reason, so whats the point of displaying them?

it just throws other proper questions off the page and makes it hard to find something good to look at.

Joko, do as some have suggested and go to the front page, Q&P and Jokes don't feature there and you can refresh away to see latest in the 'serious' topics like news and business etc

jokes - yes, fair point; people do read them but they're crowding out proper questions.

Crosswords - no, those are real questions and get real answers; the most popular section on AB, in fact.

I would suggest that, as something 60% of our traffic is from people looking for crossword clues, that in fact they are the "proper questions" :)
