Women Martyrs

The ISIS woman prisoner who they wanted traded for the Jordanian pilot died as a martyr.
Will she get 72 virgins too? Or is it just male martyrs?
Can't imagine she would be getting much peace.

"According to Muslim scholars, female martyrs can expect to find their husbands in paradise. A woman who had multiple husbands in life will be able to choose the best one as her eternal spouse in the afterlife.
Religious commentators state that paradise will make female martyrs beautiful and happy, and satisfied to be with only one man. Additionally, their earthly devotion to Allah will make them superior to the virgin maidens in heaven, and thus their husband's affections will never stray."
Strangely, a heavenly virgin huru has been translated from the old scriptures as a 'white currant'. That just strikes me as comical for no reason.

This reminds me of the Catholic "limbo" fairy tail: there's no scriptural justification for believing in such a thing. The idea that - according to Islamic scripture - a woman in the afterlife can chose who she wishes to be with for the rest of all eternity is a falsehood. There's absolutely no mention nor indication whatsoever in the Koran or the Hadiths that a woman has this choice in the afterlife.
This idea is simply apologist twaddle by certain members of the Islamic faith to justify subjugating real women who actually exist right here and right now with promises of equality when they are dead.
