spartacus scene - 'im spartacus'

this is a bit vague but hopefully someone can help !there is a scene in the film spartacus where the romans want to capture spartacus and are questioning a crowd but one by one all the crowd stands up saying 'im spartacus' thus hiding his identity.now the vague bit ! I have strong deja vu with this scene and can picture an extremely similar scene in a far newer movie ie 80's/90's where a bunch of people are doing the same ie claiming to be this individual to hide his identity.he had possibly been in a fight and was injured but not sure.

does this ring any bells with anyone ?!

I heard a brilliant story about one of Kirk Douglas' sons (not Michael) who tried his hand at stand-up comedy. He was wildly popular in USA, but only because of who he was - apparently his act sucked. Anyway, he brought his show to London, where he was roundly heckled and booed. Not being used to this kind of treatment, he freaked out and shouted "You can't treat me like this - I'm Kirk Douglas' son!" Of course, this prompted some genius in the audience to stand up and shout out "No, I'M Kirk Douglas' son!" Someone else followed suit, etc etc etc. He left the stage in tears.

There was a movie in the late 80's about the miner's strike called Scab.

That had a scene where the police were after one of the picketers and got on the coach to arrest him. When they asked which one of them was the bloke they were after everybody started to stand up and say" I am Spartacus".
