Next update on Anne...

Hi! For those of you kind enough to have asked, I’m posting a brief update on the progress of my friend Anne, further to –
http://www.theanswerb...s/Question822074.html
After that op - to remove the chemo-reduced tumour from her lung - & three weeks in hospital, she’s home, still on antibiotics, recovering slowly from the infection.
Obviously, further tests are needed to ensure that the op was completely successful, but happily – so far - she’s been given no indication to the contrary.
When a suitable period of time has passed (in theory, 3-4 weeks), her specialist needs to discuss treatment for the next tumour, which will almost certainly require a mastectomy.
She’s very happy to be home & has lots of people fussing over her – to her chagrin, but she’s learning to cope with being pampered! :-)
I can’t stop now, but will check back in later - as always, we both thank you for your kind thoughts.
