Last night, I went to bed at 9.15pm and fell asleep straight away. I didn't wake up again until 6.10 am . That's nine hour of uninterrupted sleep. I must have been really tired.

Isn't it amazing how your body sorts itself out?

what makes you think your body is sorted out ?
Question Author
Well, I obviously needed some sleep and my body did what it needed to do, Peter. Sorted.
You clearly don't share a bed with someone like my OH. I don't think I've had uninterrupted sleep since the first night I stayed here.

It's so annoying.
morning till. Something subconscious takes over at times, I reckon.
My lady mother demanded separate beds in 1946 as she 'got sick of being kicked out of bed when my father relived his prison camp experiences'

FEPOWs had a much worse deal
The opposite for me. I went to bed at 12.30, slept till 2.30. Paced about for an hour, read a little and resisted coming on here. I managed to sleep again from 4pm - 7pm but I feel OK. Maybe I didn't need much sleep.

Tell him to move over and stay over, ummmm.
hope you had a lovely dream to go with your good sleep xx
Question Author
Morning, sweety. I may be less grumpy today.

Maydup, will you have a nap during the day?
I probably shouldn't moan too much. I sleep talk and sleep walk. I often freak him out :-)
Question Author
I don't seem to remember my dreams, mallyh but they must have been pleasant otherwise I'd have woken up.
No nap, off to work in an hour and there until 6pm tonight.

I seem to need less sleep as the years go by, but its unusual for mine to be broken. I usually need about 6 hours and am lucky enough to sleep straight through mostly.

Tilly make the most of it while you can, I rarely get more than a couple of good night's shut eye and then revert back to the old sleep pattern with waking every three hours.
Question Author
I'm sure you do, ummmm. Perhaps that's why he's restless, waiting for the next conversation. Sleep walking must be frightening.
Question Author
Perhaps you'll sleep better tonight, maydup. You must be exhausted.
Sleep walking is more frightening for him as I never remember it :-)

He says the sleep talking is freaky because I don't blink.
Question Author
Are your eyes open when you're walking and talking?
Yeah.
Question Author
Blimey!
have you tried a straightjacket, ummmm?
