As a child I suffered from warts, my dad used salt water which seemed to do the trick, he also used to throw me in the sea to sort them out if we were on holiday!!
Other than that I can only suggest maybe trying creams from the chemist which are supposed to be good! Ask your GP if he can write a prescription for your daughter!
Ah i had these as a kid, they took ages to go away themselves but i think in the end i was given a prescription and they soon cleared up ! just make a visit to the doctor and they should prescribe you something :)
My five year old daughter suffers from warts too - one was very close to the corner of her eye and looked very unsightly - the GP refused to remove it, but now after nearly 2 years(!) it has virtually disappeared. She has several on her fingers and we used the freezing stuff you get from the chemist (very similiar to the liquid nitrogen the doc uses), but beware - it's a bit on the stinging side and she probably won't like it, but it does work.
a practice nurse i know swears by duct tape. yes i know weird, but she assures me its the best thing. apparently you put some on the wart for 2 weeks, replacing needed and it will be gone.
i was seriously "yeah right", but put some on my daughters fingers and 2 weeks later they were gone!!! you can buy the claer tape. something to do with the sticky bit killing the wart?
Yes, I'm another fan of Scotchgard Duct Tape and although it does sound weird, it does work. Try Googling Warts and Duct Tape and you'll probably come across several websites to authenticate the suggestion. I put some of the tape on a small wart on my arm and covered it with flesh coloured Elastoplast because the silver duct tape looks rather unsightly. Left it on for 3 weeks and the wart disappeared. Was told about this by my nephew who's a medical student.
