Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Hi Everybiddyl. Well...it's not stopped raining all day. Me and my R & R friend were going to have a look round Loughborough today but decided instead not to bother and go up the road to a pub for lunch. It got burned really badly earlier this year (I think it was) but has now been rebuilt and refurbished and is very nice. The meal was 2 for one and we had lasagne with side salad and garlic bread and my friend had a glass of white wine it came to 11.80. Not bad eh!! We met at 12 and we came back to my house for a Blys Coffee and a chat. She eventually left at 20 to 4. I really miss our nights out. I still haven't done anything else in the house since. Just sat about doing crossies and stuff. Oh I did make some soup a la Lottie's recipe for my tea and prepared veg for tomorrow's lunch/dinner.

Hope you've all made you minds up on what coats and jumpers you're going to buy. I must say they all look good. I always bother about buying clothes on line cos I like to try before I buy. And I couldn't a***d sending them back. Unless you have a courier that brings them and collects them. Is that what you do?

I think I'm going to have a soak in a bath. It's one of those days when really feel like one, it might just ease my arms and hands and now my right leg has started. I'm concluding it's the colder whether getting to me. Any suggestions any one?

Hope you all have a good night. See yer later 'gater(s) x
<<<<<<My picture is of Derby looking across the river to the Council House but is doesn't look so good small. The blob is the middle is a bush behind the weir. I'm going to change it in a bit.
This is the bigger picture I hope. :¬)

Hi Jude, Miserable day here too.

My feet are hurting so much today I could cry. I had to pop out to the shops later this afternoon and could barely walk. I feel very bad tempered.

Night night all. Wont be around until Tuesday. Birthday weekend!!
Evening all, just back from dinner, my feet are killing me, wearing 3" heels does me no favours, but enjoyed it, am shattered so off to bed.

You Ok woofy?

Love to you all xxxx

Just popped in to make sure you've all taken your make up off ,cleansed ,toned and moisturised and that you've put plenty of handcream on .
I want you all up bright and early with full slap on ...haha...
I'm off to get my beauty sleep .
Goodnight ,sleep tight .
Have a nice weekend Lofty .
You forgot the foot cream. Yes Neti thanks I am fine. Shughy "thinks" he can hear fireworks (absolute silence outside) so I am going to have to get up and give him a dose of herbal stuff. I think he only does it for the meat that I roll the dose up in.
sorry to hear everyone has aches and pains. I'm feeling okay myself, but I'm sure it's only temporary. I've bought three Tescos "meals for two" - each one's a main, a side, a dessert and a bottle of wine; they're £10 the lot each and with each one (max three) you get a 5p-off petrol voucher. The desserts are some sort of blueberry crumble I don't really fancy, as the lemon torte and belgian choc cheesecake were sold out.
Morning all, raining and 21º here.

jno my sister bought the M&S dine in for £10 and the meals were delicious and the wine was very nice. I don't much fancy blueberries after having a blueberry stack of pancakes in Key Largo, bright blue they were and have put me off for life, plus I abhore crumble yuk! but one has to admit to all this being excellent value. Another reason I want to move to Yorkshire, I have decided, my friends say I should move to paley Bridge (I think that's what they said). Will now google it.
neti, as a practical joke Alfred Hitchcock once invited friends to dinner but dyed all the food blue; they couldn't bring themselves to eat it (as he'd expected). Sounds as if there's just something wrong with blue food.

Morning all
Dullish here .Just got back from the hospital for Mr.S:s blood tests .I was up before the streets were aired this morning .
I've never tried any of those meals .They always look nice when they advertise them on the TV .
Better make a move I suppose and go and run the errands .

Morning all...lovely & sunny, yesterday was abysmal, it was dark so early.
The good news is my ears have popped after about a week of fuzziness...the bad news is one of my eyes has gone blurry. I don't think it's the vitreous thing again, well, i hope not, it feels more of an exterior, sore kind of thing. They've been sore all week, like Lottie's. <sigh>

Jude it depends where you buy from as to whether you get a courier who collects returns. Next are the best, usually next day delivery & the courier collects returns. M&S uses royal mail and you have to take things to the PO to reurn. It's no hassle, (unless there's a mile long queue, haha), no charge, they give you a receipt to say you've sent it. Debenhams have a mixture of delivery people, it depends where the items have come from.

I wish they'd stop advertising that M&S apple strudel on the tele, it looks yummy. When my sis went in there it was all sold out.
Speaking of the tele I think my old freeview box has died...<screams quietly>
Just a quick hello and goodbye from me

Bye Lottie, have a good time!
Bye lotie enjoy yourself.

Jno in the 70's when I was a teacher we had a danish hippy cook and she dyed the rice blue one day and the kids (who wouldn't normally eat anything) refused it, it did look revolting. I guess we aquaint blue with mould.
Have a good weekend Lottie and Happy Birthday to MR L.
Lovely day here. I'm off to town to do a bit of shopping :¬)
Have a good day Everybiddy Laters 'gaters
Not ignoring any comments just in a hurry to catch the bus. Will say more later....Byeee!
Just cleaning some of the kitchen, and watching Simply Red in Oz last year, they are terrific, always liked the songs, but never liked him that much, but he does have a good voice, even though he does look like the Duchess of Pork.

Regard the blue rice, I obviously meant *who would normally eat anything!*
I wonder if there is a bus Derby-Ibiza, cos if she's coming to visit I had better take off this bleached stained sweater, and tidy myself up a tad.
Just heard tht an elderly rich friend (whose young wife is in England at the moment) was burgled last night , he was asleep in his bed, the dog didn't make a sound and they took all his money and a huge flatscreen TV, makes you wonder. They often use that sleeping gas in these cases.
