Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

MOrning Everybiddy. didn't get to write back yesterday had to sort my credit card out. Someone has taken more than they should. They owe me £49.90. So letters are going to be written today of the sternest sort after 3 phonecalls yesterday.
Anyway, Shoes and Boots. I have bought a pair of flat winter shoes from Hotter Woofy, and they're so comfortable. Even though I thought they were expensive. Around £45/£50 I think. I really like them, they are dark blue so I where them when I'm wearing my jeans in the winter.

One of these days Neti you never know I may just get the bus all the way to Ibiza :¬).

Sorry about the email Robi - will try and get it right next time.

Last night I laughed so much at Would I Lie to You. Did anybody else find it as funny I wonder. Lee Mack was on twice as he was in Have I got News for You as well, which was funny too.
I've just got back from Fuschia's and she has given me some poppies to plant so I'm off to do that. It's Footie at Pride Park for me this afto so 'Come on You Rams' .

Have a good day aches and pains permitting. I'm still aching in my right arm and leg.

See yer later 'gater(s)
Wear even...:¬) I got it write!! in the next sentence. See what I did there!!
hello all. Another day of clearing and normalising here.

Hotter have got a 3 for 2 on shoes so I have lashed out...I am going to need them and I just saved 69 quid..second pair of grey boots, red pixies and blue suede lace ups. They do the extra wides online which my local shop don't so thought it worthwhile to order.
I have done a dust chase today and am about to get the hoover out :-(
well, just got my car back with its MOT and bless my soul, they've even washed and hoovered the interior. The poor car has never had this kind of treatment before; it won't know what's hit it. I'd actually been thinking of doing it one of these years but never quite got around to it as the nearest socket is miles from where it's parked out front; so now I can put it off for another 10 years.

Hi folks
Not too bad here .Quite mild and sunny off and on .
Hope you're all fair to middling .Nothing much going on here really .
Just doing crosswords with a cuppa and Mr S. is wading through his pile of newspapers .
Got my tops from M&S Robinia .The teal is a lovely colour .Not something I would normally have chosen but glad I did .
Toodlepip for now .
a'noon face packers...it turned bloomin cold & showery here and I've done booger all....the leaves are fluttering down fast in my garden now.

Very nice jno, you'll be able to get the doorman to park for you without fear of embarrassment... http://www.coolfunpic...r_Interior_Colors.jpg

My friend over the road cleans inside her car more often than I clean the house I reckon.

Hope they win for you Jude...I didn't see either of those comedy progs last night but they'll be repeated. I'm into Autumnwatch/Unsprung at the moment.

I had to smile at woofy 'saving' £69...and what about the £100+ that you spent.....?
And I'm glad you like your fleece shaney, I love teal.
I know Robi but I literally have NO SHOES apart from crocs and wellys and a pair of evening heels that I can't stand in let alone walk. I have lived in crocs for six or seven years now....and now I have to give them up :-(
Just back from airport, rain held off but starting again now, had to take an imodium as I was so nervous of driving, but fine when actually doing it. Mr N went for his golf lunch and is now bringing me home hot wings and chips (my choice), then bath and bed to catch up on midsmer and the soaps.

Woofy have your feet spread from wearing crocs, mine certainly have from going barefoot here most summers. Short fat feet!! (me that is)
jude, if someone takes more from your account than they should, can't the bank get it back, they do here immediately.
yup. When the weight is off my feet I have really high arches but when I stand on them, the arches spread and my feet roll inwards which has screwed up my knee.
ooh, it's a cowd dark night...
woofy you go ahead and treat yourself to ten pairs if you want. I just love how we like to convince ourselves we've saved money... by spending a load of it :o) I have to buy good quality shoes for the comfort, I never seem to find a cheap pair that fit.

oh well, the maid's boogered off out on the town in her lurex frock... better tackle the pots then....

No Robi you are right, I dithered all morning over buying them. Spending that much money all at once and on shoes......
I don't blame you Woofy for buying more Hotters. They are such comfortable shoes.

Neti the bank say if I get no joy through normal contact with the company by letter (email in my case) then to get back to them. It wasn't actual fraud more misinterpretation and misleading information.

Anyway I'm not thinking about the today as Derby came out on top 3 -1. Great. Another match on Wednesday at Pride Park! I wont go on I promise.

Going to watch Merlin in and little while so I'll say goodnight to all My lovely Biddyfriends everywhere....See you tomorrow.
My sis has just phoned me from america to say that she has found me a cloche hat that fits her so it will fit me. AND it was on sale!!
tut, there was quite a lot of work involved, Robinia

You'd never get the dog hair off those seats.....
Can't sleep. I feel like I have drunk a gallon of coffee which I haven't. Going to be useless tomorrow :-(
poor woofy, I hope you got some sleep. If not, well, it's a 25-hour Sunday, so plenty of time to catch up.
Morning all. poor woofy, sleep when you can. Thanks jno you have just reminded me and I have now changed my clocks, thought it was 10, and it's only 9am grr.

Jude when hija was living on her own and had no food I used to put some in the bank and if she owed a bill and they took it out then I could shout at the bank and they retrieved the money within minutes and only hija could get it, worked well. Of course the bills had to be paid when she could.
Ooops should not have been driving last night....
