Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Still OK here Shaney - no rain as yet. Probably be here soon or later though. Had a lovely time Shaney. There is a posting up there ^. We met up with my two cousins and their husbands and Mr LL was totally unaware that was going to happen. We always get on so well and we never stopped laughing. I really miss them all now :o(.

Very briefly friend's son is 24 and has had ongoing oncology treatment for about 2 years. Learnt today there is nothing more they can do and it's just a matter of weeks. So unfair at such a young age.
And yes food shopping is getting ridiculous. I spent £60 today and haven't got a lot to show for it.
Oh Lottie that poor boy, so young, it makes you desperate to find something that will help. I would give anything of my body if would help my sister.
Lottie I am so sorry...life just sucks big time. Neti I am sad to hear that your BiL has given up. Its hard for those who love someone to accept that that person has stopped struggling.
I dropped the last bits of paper off at the notary today which is a huge job done..got slightly fed up with Sainsbury's finance who, when i chased them said "Don't worry, the account is frozen, no more interest will be added, there is no hurry" I pointed out fairly politely that until they got their backsides into gear I couldn't get probate and close out all the rest of the business. I know she meant to be kind and reassuring BUT.
Whoops disclosed Mr LL's name, but you know it anyway.
Thank you Ed. ;o)

Oh how very sad Lofty .So young .Mr S lost his only brother to leukemia .He was only 26 .So sad when people are taken so young. You don't expect to outlive your children . Life is so unfair at times .

What a lot of aggro for you Woofy .Not easy having to deal with all this sort of thing .Last thing you need .
We had all this sort of thing with Ma in law .And the Germans love rubber stamps and red tape . I got soooo annoyed with someone at the tax office I referred them to Plot number ..so and so at so and so in the end .
They soon shifted their backsides into gear :)
That's so very sad Lottie and I know someone who's been in a similar position. I'm not sure how they are at the moment I haven't heard anything for a while.

It was a glorious day here but I haven't done much, I feel like crip, glands are up, throat hurts and ears ache :o( I started with it yesterday...booger.
oooh is it only 6pm? It's been a long day & my sleep pattern's gone haywire.
Hope you all sleep well.
Sorry to hear that Robi...hot toddy and warm bed for you!
Mr LL's name is Morrisons?

Sad to hear of someone so ill so young. I suppose there is something to be said after all for being old and fat and achey with no teeth.
Rab is now convinced that the fireworks will start every night so here we are sat here watching recorded editions of bargain hunter and waiting for him to settle.

Hope your pooch has settled himself down Woofy .Hope you feel better tomorrow Robinia .
We need a sharp cold snap to clear the air .This weather is a germ breeder .It was muggy and mild here today in spite of the rain .I've just flopped about on the sofa all evening watching Dvd's and I've got a headache now .Tut...
Goodnight folks .
Still awake.......
ditto... I think I will go and watch another DVD. Our neighbours are holding another "charity Christmas party" where guests are invited to donate useful things which other guests can buy, the money going to charity. I would happily donate a pile of viewed-once-only DVDs, but of course I'll have to view them first.
Pooch stayed on guard till 2 am while his bro snored. Like a hero I took them out at 04.30 and we are now all back in bed and snuggled....night night
Good morning all, my what a lot of sleepless people on here.

Poor Robi, do as woofy says, bed and keep warm.

Woofy I hate red tape, Spain loves it. I have to go and fight Voda for my money but just haven't the energy to do it in Spanish, it is all so wearing. Mañana, mañana!
Shaney I've been meaning to ask, do you walk with a stick?
Good morning Friends....It's a bright day today but definitely getting colder.
Robi, I hope you are feeling better today. I think there must be a virus doing the rounds as one of my Tuesday friends has been suffering with a sore throat and glands problem. Now she losing her voice.
Neti, it's sad about you Bil 'giving up'. At least he seems to be gatting better attention than at the beginning.
Lottie some sad news from you too about your friends' son. I worked in a shop near here at weekends, when I was in my 30's and the couple had a son you was 14. Their only son, and he was diagnosed with Leukaemia and passed away within months. It was terrible time for them and I will never forget it. On a happier note I'm pleased you had a good weekend for Mr L.L.'s birthday.
Woofy I think you are such a determined brave lady to get all your private work sorted. My sister and I had to do everything after our Dad passed away and I doubt I could have done it on my own. I hope bonfire night isn't too bad for your pets. Ny little Shep hated them and got right in the corner behind the Telly and shook I gave him Hedex. As he got older he went deaf and eventually he never heard them so he was ok.
Shaney hope you get some relief from your painful legs. I'm now accepting that getting painful limbs is really an age thing and I think the cooler weather isn't helping mine. I have to admit that it isn't very bad but it is more noticeable now.
Hello Jno hope you're ok and if you're old and fat. (which I'm sure you're not) I'm old and very, very, skinny....!!

I'm doing some much needed housework today then off to you know where today. ther yer go i said I wouldn't mention is again!
See yer later 'gater(s) x

PS hope there are no typos not checked today:¬)
Can hardly walk this am so off to medico at noon, have a list as long as my arm for him to deal with!!
Just a quick good mornin', still feel rough, throat's a bit better but my head aches & one eye's puffy (the evil one I give to people who cough on me).

Sun's shining so I'm going to totter to the PO to post my oldest g'daughter's birthday pressie. Better take a barrel of brandy...it'll get me over the shock of the postage.
