She might have done it, who knows? (well apart from the real killer I guess!) but if they didn't have enough evidence, she get's to go free, it's he way it is and should be too IMO.
Awwww, I thought this was a thread about me from an admirer:(

what gets me is that how the media labelled her as foxy noxy, which is quite wrong when you consider the crime she was accused of. Treating her like some sort of celebrity instead of a suspect in a gruesome murder.
I feel that there is more to this case, but she has been acquitted and should get on with her life, but will i'm sure be surrounded by a media circus, who will want the life story. Sadly for Merediths family this won't go away.
^Ooooh....hark at her :0)
That was trigg, em....not you......your bonce got in the way. :0)
there are some in ab would have had her hanged her 4 years ago.
Ankou, perhaps, but they don't have a say, no more than those on AB know what really happened. Merediths parents were gracious i would say in saying they respect the Italian courts decision, seeing how they have lost a daughter in such a terrible way.
it would have saved the Italian justice system a lot of money if she'd just been shot straightaway after the verdict, Ankou. But all this blooming Human Rights stuff meant we had to go through it all again. And as Italy is in the EU, I expect I am the one paying for it all.
It`s interesting watching the news about this on both sides of the Atlantic. I was in Florida over the last couple of days and they are as biased towards Amanda Knox as the UK is biased against her. HLN had a guest on who was a professor of biology and criminal evidence. He said the DNA that was used in the original evidence was of such low level that it wouldn`t even have been considered in the US. After listening to all the things he said, I think they have done the right thing in releasing her. Extremely good timing too for US TV channels, that the verdict was announced just as the Dr Conrad Murray court broke for lunch!
Mr Kercher has not been entirely gracious

"How can they ignore all the other evidence? I thought the judge might play it safe and uphold the conviction but reduce the sentence. But this result is crazy.

"There were 47 wounds on Meredith and two knives used. One person couldn't possibly have done that. What happens now? Does that mean the police need to look for more killers? It makes a mockery of the original trial. We are all shocked, we could understand them reducing the sentence but completely freeing them, wow."

If your child had been murdered would you not want the culprits caught and punished, and i was referring to the courts decision and their comments afterwards. They have to pick up the pieces, and go home to make some sense of this, so i would say they have been as gracious as it was possible to be under these extreme circumstances.
at the moment the public (well, the us mostly) are thinking poor innocent girl banged up for 4 years for a crime she did not commit.

who can blame them if they scoop a headline, a book deal and film rights?

the sad thing really is that the poor little innocent victim in all this is now overlooked because of the diabiolical italian prosecution and justice system.
I don't know but if she keeps quite and disappears I would have a better opinion of her than I would if she is plastered all over the media and making mega bucks. In other words showing consideration to the victims grieving family, by silence might go down better than the media show which seems to be already in planning stage.
Xsticher, not going to happen though is it. And i don't believe Italy has capital punishment now, not since the end of the war.
I agree with Ankou...
