When making cottage pie, shepherds pie or homemade cauliflower cheese, for a tasty topping,crush up a packet of cheese and onion crisps, normal packet size, and then add to it some lovely grated mature cheese, mix well together and put on top before putting in the oven to cook. its lush, try it! I never do mine any other way now.

Sounds gross, I could never ruin good food by adding crisps!!!!
Like a crunchy cheese/breadcrumb topping - hmmm - may try that :)
I do that all the time but I add plain crisps.

Ive told lots of friends about this in the past and ive never found anyone that tried it and didnt like it. Its very tasty.
It sounds kind of wrong, but I bet it's gorgeous!
