You should be using a minibus type taxi where you can sit in the back. Your post suggests humour but as the husband of someone who has to go work in a hospital every day, I don’t find it at all funny.
I would order yourself a cab, most have screens rather than you sitting closer than 2 metres from someone next to you. Have you tried local GP, although most aren't most open at the moment. They only use a sterilised version of pruning loppers.
I suspect you're safer in your friend's car than you would be in the back of any taxi, however long, as any person sitting in there could have left virus on the seat/door handles etc.
Erm....Listen to the advice given out at regular intervals which is understandable by anyone with an ounce of intelligence. My answer was actually to anne supporting David Small as both comments were stultifyingly ignorant.
I’m sorry if you thought I was being ignorant but in the face of such mind numbingly dumb comment I felt I had no choice but to point out the thought pattern which may lead to this situation resulting in someone close to us all.
