sitting on a bench outside the Auldene Garden centre in Croston eating me Cornetto, (my daughter had a pastel lolly), just bought 10 new tropical fish and all was right with the world, then yeow!!!!!!!!!! Some malicious bloody flying something bites me in the middle of my shoulder blades, I had my yellow halter neck sun top on, so now I am dosed up on Piriton, ant- insect bite spray by my side, waiting for the bite to start driving me crazy! Anyone got one of those long back scratcher things? It is sore!

I'm covered in em, dotty ~ I swear blind they are mutants this year. I have always suffered with bites, but not this bloody much!

My ankle has swelled to 4 times the size now ~ going to the doctor tomorrow as antihistamine & hydrocortisone haven't touched it. Reckon I need antibiotics..the barstewards :o(

hi dot!! sorry to hear about what happened. they're little bast@rds ain't they? funny thing is i have a yellow top and i always seem to get bitten if i'm wearing it, maybe they like yellow??!! try putting a bit of calamine lotion or a bit of toothpaste on the bite to help with the itch xXx

p.s what fish did u buy? we have tropical fish xXx
