If you could have been around to witness a historical event of any kind and during any century, what would you have liked it to have been ?

The Crucifixion. I'd also like to have hung around Jerusalem for a few extra days.

1969. Man on the moon - needed to be there as I am one of those cynics who don't believe that it ever happened.
I'd liked to have seen 5 loaves and 2 fishes feed 5,000...
Yes and the parting of the sea
...and the 'burning bush'... (isn't that what Caneston' is for?!...
pmsl......I'm not following you.....
end of the second world war, a great party i bet
or to witness my birth...................lol
Moses receiving the 10 Commandments and Noah squeezing all those animals onto the ark.
whiffey Im sure they would have been happy to hang you for a few days
snagged ...................you are so bad !
And it is CanestEn....(apparently) . PMSL
2 events spring to mind.

1) July 1st 1916 (The Battle of the Somme) when my great great Grandfather, along with 20,000 other brits died at the hands of the invading Germans. I would have loved to have watched his back or perhaps just to be there to make sure his died with dignity.

2) 1932-33 England cricket tour of Oz, where we utilised the "bodyline" tactics. Loved to have supported the English in the face of great adversity from the swaggering aussies. Also would have witnessed Bradman, possibly the best batsman ever albeit an aussie.
