No as you will only have to face them when you sober up. If I need to send a text like that, I will make sure I am sober and fully aware of what I am sending.

I'm guilty of sending "fishing texts" on a night out (or even on a night in, but I want to go out!).....As in, "what are you up to?", "are you out?"....Usually at 11pm on a week night, too! lol

I got one from a guy I like this week, nothing naughty but just saying he thought I was hot and could we see eachother again soon. He is really shy, so this surprised me. The next day he apologised for the text, saying that he forgot that he sent it.

I dont think anyone sends them truthfully because of the alcohol I think people just send them because they want to and they know the next day they can say sorry I was drunk. I often know exactly what I was doing but used that excuse
