I don't need it, as I have my own natural tan, but know people who have used it and liked it. I think it's quite important to exfoliate skin before application of the product.
I find it's easier to apply if you use a normal moisturiser first as a 'base' then apply the holiday skin, it does have a very tanny smell but I find it better than the Garnier, that one smelt nicer but didn't seem to build a tan on me at all!
It isn't bad actually, I always take it on holiday with me and apply it after my shower in the evening. It keeps the tan longer but it does smell. They brought a new one out that was supposedly a less smelly one but it wasn't much better - sorry to go on .....
I think they're all awful (naturally an 'english rose' (ahem) complexion so I've tried most) and would now go to a salon and get it done properly, sit in the sun or (most likely) continue with my Morticia Adams impersonation!
I used it last summer on my legs - it was o.k - the only down side, which is the same with a lot of these self tan products, is the horrible smell. I have'nt found one yet that does'nt smell foul - even the expensive ones like Decleor !
