When to let a cat our after a house move.
I have recently moved to the country and have two cats, one of which is only young and I decided not to let out until we had moved. We have now been in our house for two hectic weeks and the older cat is going to the cat flap wanting to go out. I must admit I am a bit worried about letting them out as the road running through the village can be used as a race track and has large agricultural lorries, in the other direction are fields, horses and a copse. Should I let them out now? Should I wait until the weekend when I am at home and should I stop worrying about it!?

There isn't a lot you can do but hope for the best. My mother always said to put butter on their paws and then they will be able to smell their way back. Don't let them out on the raod side, and yes I would wait till you are at home at weekend. Good luck.
