Good Morning All,

Well like the temperatures outside my weight has been up and down lately. I'm sure it has to do with me being "lost."

Hope you are all getting near your goals.

LOL wendilla - I'm Jools, Jim is the OH. He doesn't come on here at all now. But of course I can't change to just Jools. I did try to superimpose my name "Jools" over my avatar but it didn't work - will try again when I've read up on how to do it. That may help.

As to size 12 well I'm the same size 14 is normal (was 18 a couple of years ago) but if it's a loose fit I can now get away with a 12. But I need to come down a bit more, at least 1 stone, to be able to wear 12 all the time. I think 14 is about as small as I will get with tops though, (I'm a bit top heavy). :-)))
Creeping in slowly and running out fast. Not lost an ounce. Not got any excuses.
put on again this week...all going the wrong way... my head isn't in the right place for dieting at the moment so finding it reallly hard
Keep at it Rowan, don't give up and although it is important to you try and persevere even if you have other more important things on your mind. It gets you out of the Flat for a couple of hours for a social get together !
Just popped in to say well done Jools and don't give up rowan. I started off with all good intentions and then, shall we say "got distracted". I think it makes it difficult that I can't weigh myself so can't see if anything is happening. Hopefully will be able to in six weeks time if Consultant says I can take the walking boot off.

Anyway, keep up the good work all and hope you enjoy the swimming slinky. Onwards and downwards!

I'm just the same, but was hoping for a bit of a loss although I know that travelling really can do havoc with the diet. Hope to be able to give a better report next week.

It looks like you have a "messy mindset" Rowanwitch. I've had that a lot lately. I got it cleaned out and hopefully things will go better for both of us. Onwards and downwards.........................
Well I stayed the same this week. Not too worried about it as I think I know what happened. I've had cystitus (sp) so have been drinking lots of cranberry juice which has added extra syns. So I'm relieved that I didn't gain. I have to pay for a new countdown next week and I had hoped to have lost a stone by now but at least I'm down by 10lb, so only 4lb out I suppose.

Just read Rowans post - Don't give up whatever you do. You have done so well it would be a shame to undo all that hard work. Maybe just try to maintain for a while rather than get down about not losing. It is hard I know, I still struggle but I know that at the end of the day it is worth it. I felt so good when I lost all that weight the last time. Jan, it's so easy to get distracted. I will have my grandson here from tomorrow, so I'm going to be distracted atleast I will get lots of exercise running about after him - he is only 2 and a half so very lively. So I hope I will have lost next week.
going to get weighed tonight, let you know later how i went,i did enjoy the swimming and i must say all the staff were great, they walked me to the pool and back, because i am so unsteady.i managed to do 4 lengths stopping at each side to get my breath, then i done another 8 but was starting and stopping which took me nearly an hour, but i will go next monday again, and the swimming was free because i am over 60
i lost 3lbs this week.

WOW well done slinky.kate. You must be over the moon. I am so impressed with the lengths that you managed. I used to be a trained swimmer in Canada many, many moons ago but now just 10 minutes of lengths wear me out. You are doing it the right way and I congratulate you. Keep up the good work. Hi Kate well done. I wish I could swim but panic when my face hits the water. Don't think anyone else of us has done well this week. We are all in disgrace so come on girls Onwards and Downwards.

You're quite right Wedilla. We are not focusing on the goals we have and that is so important.
Does going into town to shop count as exercise lol?
Well Done Kate ....excellent stuff and so glad you braved the pool! Soon have you doing a mile a swim ;0)

Well done Kate - I love to swim, unfortunatley I can't as I have a problem with my neck - If I do breaststroke my right arm goes all tingley and if I do back stroke It gives me problems with my ears. I've tried doing it with earplugs in but that doesn't work so I'll have to give it a miss. I might try to go to the aquarobics classes though.
thanks for the good wishes, when i was in the pool i held onto the side and done some excercises and done some walking in the water, going again next monday.

That is such good new slinky.kate. Keep up the good work.
only managed another ¼lb loss this week, but at least it is still in the right direction. Was thinking about joining a Zumba class, but not sure the world is ready for all my bits shaking about :) so have just this week ordered and received Zumba fitness for the Wii, so now I can do all my shaking behind closed blinds.
i would love to do that but i cant,(no balance)
i have actually been quite good today despite attending a retirement lunch...had some fruit before I went and just had half a round of chicken salad sandwich a small oniom bhaji and two chicken goujons had a 'legal' meal tonight and keeping busy so I don't pick....I think posting on here is more help than SW onwards and downwards...
