Before it became more popular to text for competitions I won hundreds of prizes using postcards. For a case of Guinness I would take some black card and make a white 'head' to simulate a pint of Guinness, or when I won a holiday in France I cut out a map of France and sent that as the postcard. That's the thing. You can 'influence' the judges by coming up with something original with a postcard. You are just one of thousands of identical entries if you text.
