A while ago I posted this question http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Question225629.html
Just to let anyone that replied know that I rang Landlord in the end on Saturday and he got into flat and no sign of a body. Still no sign of her today so maybe she's just on holiday. But at least I know there is no dead body upstairs :-)

There may be a perfectly rational reason for her absence, but there also might not be, and if her body was found unidentified somewhere and you'd done nothing, you would feel dreadful. Worse case scenario is that this is what has happened and the police have no means of identify her beause nobody has reported her missing. Ring them up and let them make the decision as to whether it's important or not. Then if anything untoward has happened, your conscience will be clear And if she returns OK, I'm sure she will be grateful that at least somebody has cared enough to worry about her..
