Are there any moderators out there?

Last night I was ranted at and abused verbally by what I can only assume was a very drunken person on 'is there anybody awake out there.'

Now I know I should ignore what was said but is anyone a moderator on this site? Is there some one on line 24 hours to monitor? Some questions and answers are pulled really quickly whilst others stay on forever (look at questions asked last night or rather early this morning for examples). Who are the moderators? and many other questions.................

Can I just ask what is 'is there anybody awake out there'? Is it part of Answerbank or an entirely different site?

It's easier to let it go in one ear and out the next pirate. Read the replies/opinions from genuine people. It's easy to detect those who are here just for the sake of winding people up.

no, Pirate, the site isn't moderated - users just have to report offensive posts and the Ed will sort it out, but she seldom works weekends.

Nobody cares about moderation on AB, if we had moderators we would be like yahoo.
